West Beach Film Festival. 6 to 28 Sept

The Nieuw-West District of Amsterdam gets in on the outdoor cinema action with the West Beach Film Festival from 6 to 28 September 2013.

Film in Nieuw-West
For four weekends, a selection of top films are screened outdoors next to the Sloterplasbad swimming pool. For free! Grab a drink and a snack and settle in for some movie magic, whether it be a silver-screen classic or a blockbusting new release.

Weather-proof
If  rain threatens to spoil play, the film will be screened inside the adjacent Sloterparkbad Cafe instead. The grounds open at 20:00 with Film Academy graduation project shorts being screened at 20:30 before the main event at 21:00. Be advised – there is only a limited number of seats, so head along early to be sure of a seat.
